FLENS Model
 Views performance support as a sequence of filters and lenses that successively focus the performer on the performance target
 Addresses both the outcome (performance target) and the process
 Nice conceptual model, but does not suggest how to design for PS
 Misses the point that to meet the business imperative, there may need to be very little focusing / filtering
 In many cases, erroneously suggests narrowing choices, information, knowledge - when competent performance may in fact require expanding such elements while simply directing the goal.
