Creating Representations
General Concepts & Principles:
The starting point of performance centered design is creating representations of business problems.
When creating representations, it’s not enough to ensure that they adhere to a checklist of performance-centered attributes and behaviors.
With respect to the system development lifecycle, representations are created long before a single line of code is written or a window is painted.
Representations must be appropriate for the problem solver.
Ultimately, developers cannot guess which representation is best for the problem solver.
