Hypertext Principles
Figure 1:  Principle #1:  You cannot directly convert text to hypertext.
Figure 2:  Principle #2:  Just because you can make links with HTML doesn't mean that you should.  
Figure 3:  Principle #3:  Neither the "holy scrollers" or the "card sharks" are necessarily right with regard to hypertext design.  It depends on the performance problem, the performers, etc.

Principle #4:     It must be easy to update information.

Principle #5:     Updates must be integral to workflow and reflect new thinking that fosters business success.

Principle #6:     Embraces knowledge as information in action.
