is a man with a mission. Outraged by the inferior and unusable products that are constantly forced upon long-suffering software users, Alan decided to do something about the problem. He founded Cooper Interaction Design in 1992 with a clear mandate: to conceive and design interactive products that give power and pleasure to those who use them.

He invented the computer mouse and the hierarchical browser (outline viewer), both of which are fundamental to computing.  The links below provide interviews, history and generally fascinating things about a true visionary.

Gloria Gery is an independent consultant based in Tolland, Massachusetts who coined the phase "Electronic Performance Support System.". She specializes in performance centered software design and in developing and implementing eLearning and performance support systems. Her emphasis is in strategy development and in creating the necessary managerial approaches. In addition, she assists in developing creative interface and program structures to assure learning and guarantee performance.

Tony O'Driscoll is Lead Learning Strategist with IBM's Center for Advanced Learning. He is responsible for advancing IBM's thought leadership in formal and informal learning through research, theory and methodology development, application and education. Dr. O'Driscoll has advised business leaders around the world on how to leverage technology to create sustainable competitive advantage in an increasingly networked global economy.
